    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) gives notice of its proposal to abandon an area of 2650 square metres of Ballyboley Road, Larne extending from a point 135 metres north of its junction with Rowan Avenue, after completion of such works as the Department considers necessary for the provision of alternative facilities for road traffic.

    Inspecting the proposal

    The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 29 September 2020 to 9 November 2020 at the Department's address as follows:

    Ballymena

    During the current Covid-19 restrictions, access to this building is limited and inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email using dfiroads.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at address below or by emailing landsofficecoleraine@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
