    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), being of the opinion that the road is not necessary for road traffic, gives notice of its intention to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which would be to abandon an area of 101.47 square metres of former alleyway to the rear of nos. 92-122 Royal Avenue, Belfast, extending from its junction with Kent Street for a distance of 36.37 metres in a south-westerly direction.

    Consultation description

    The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 24 January 2024 to 4 March 2024 at:

    Inspecting the proposal

    Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email at lands.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing lands.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
