Detail

DfI Roads & Rivers is seeking experienced Contractors to carry out a range of marine maintenance services on both 300+ gross tonne ro-ro vessels operated by the Strangford Lough Ferry Service.

The requirement is divided into the following 5 Lots:

Lot 1 - Provision of Marine Structural Maintenance Services.
Lot 2 - Provision of Marine Electrical Services.
Lot 3 - Provision of Marine Painting Services.
Lot 4 - Provision of Marine Hydraulic Maintenance Services.
Lot 5 – Load Testing and Replacement Items

Each lot will be awarded to a single Contractor. There is no limit on the number of lots a Contractor may be awarded

Economic Operators are invited to apply for inclusion on a shortlist  to be invited to tender for the Term contracts for Small Scale Responsive Works 2020.  This procurement is for the award of six contracts.

The contracts will include the following principal work activities: delivery of TTM as part of associated civils works on live trafficked public roads; temporary and permanent reinstatement of openings and repairs to defects in footways and carriageways;  construction and surfacing of carriageways and footways; adjustment / provision of drainage installation; adjustment / provision of kerblines; earthworks; fencing construction and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:
