Fleet Maintenance - North West and Greater Belfast Areas

Estimated value: Approx. £6.8m
Closing date for tenders:  7 August 2020
Detail: The Department has a requirement for the provision of servicing, maintenance and repair operations in each of their Greater Belfast and North West areas.

These contracts are regulated by The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and a Contract Notice has been dispatched to the Office for Official Publications of the European Union.

Provision of Property and Vehicle Loss Assessor Service 

Estimated value: Approx. £50k
Closing date for tenders:  23 July 2020
Detail: DfI Claims Unit is seeking an experienced Contractor or Contractors to provide Property and Vehicle Damage Loss Adjusting Services on the Unit’s behalf, in respect of claims made by the general public or others (two lots).

Hollywell Burn Embankment Works

Estimated value: approx. £500k
Closing date for tenders: 14 August 2020
Detail: Delivery of a high-quality flood alleviation scheme that protects Kilbegs Business Park in Antrim town, Co. Antrim, from flooding during a 1 in 100-year flood event. The scheme involves the construction of a new reinforced concrete flood wall, improvements to and extension of an existing flood bund and flood alleviation measures to a number of residential dwellings in the vicinity of Plasketts Burn downstream of the main flood alleviation works.

Term Contracts for Watercourse Maintenance 2020

Estimated value: Up to approx. £325k per annum
Closing date for tenders: 2 July 2020
Detail: The Term Contracts for Watercourse Maintenance 2020 are for the provision of plant and labour works service resources from suitable contractors to undertake watercourse maintenance work to designated watercourses.  Work activities will include the removal, as necessary, of materials and obstructions restricting flow or reducing capacity of watercourses. This includes vegetation clearance, the removal of silt and extraneous matter from the bed of watercourses and aquatic vegetation growing in the water, within the four individual and separate regions as listed below:

WME1 - Eastern
WMW1 - Coleraine
WMW2 - Omagh
WMW3 - Fermanagh

Bracky Bridge Replacement

Estimated value: Approx. £300k
Closing date for Tenders: 2 July 2020
Detail: The project involves the construction of a reinforced concrete integral bridge and associated embankment works. This will include the provision of approximately 100m of realigned carriageway construction, drainage and associated earthworks.

Term Contracts for Small Scale Responsive Works 2020

Estimated value: Up to approx. £2.7m per annum
Closing date for PQQ: 9 July 2020
Detail: Economic Operators are invited to apply for inclusion on a shortlist  to be invited to tender for the Term contracts for Small Scale Responsive Works 2020.  This procurement is for the award of six contracts.

The contracts will include the following principal work activities: delivery of TTM as part of associated civils works on live trafficked public roads; temporary and permanent reinstatement of openings and repairs to defects in footways and carriageways;  construction and surfacing of carriageways and footways; adjustment / provision of drainage installation; adjustment / provision of kerblines; earthworks; fencing construction and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

SSN1 - Causeway Coast & Glens
SSE2 - Lisburn & Castlereagh
SSS1 - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon
SSS3 - North Down & Ards
SSW3 - Fermanagh
SSW4 - Omagh

Note: Different elements of, or all of the work activities listed above may be responsive type work required to be done within specific time limits.

The Department has limited the number of Contract Areas that may be awarded to any one Economic Operator to a maximum of three out of the six available. The award criteria is Price Only.

    Term Contracts for Minor Improvement Works 2020

    Estimated value: Up to approx. £1.9m per annum
    Closing date for PQQ: 2 July 2020
    Detail: Economic Operators are invited to apply for inclusion on a shortlist  to be invited to tender for the Term Contracts for Minor Improvement Works 2020.  This procurement is for the award of three contracts.

    The contracts will include the following work activities: network improvement schemes; drainage installation; pavement surfacing; earthworks; traffic management; traffic calming schemes; transportation schemes, working with services / utilities; TTM / dealing with live traffic on public roads and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

    MIN1 - Causeway Coast & Glens;
    MIW1 - Mid Ulster; 
    MIS1 - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon.

    The Department has limited the number of contracts that may be awarded to any one Economic Operator to a maximum of two out of the three available. The award criteria is Price Only.

    Supply, Deliver and Installation of a Static Hot Box

    Estimated value: Approx. £44k

    Detail: DfI Roads & Rivers have a requirement for the supply, delivery and installation of a static hot box for DfI Roads depot at Enniskillen, Co.Fermanagh.

    Detail: The Term Contracts for Asphalt Resurfacing 2020 (B) will include the following work activities: laying various types of asphalt, asphalt concrete and thin surfacing by mechanical means, laying various types of asphalt, asphalt concrete and thin surfacing by hand, reshaping of carriageways, adjustment of street furniture to new levels, adjustment/provision of kerblines, adjustment/provision of carriageway drainage systems, traffic management, road marking/studs, other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

    ARS1 - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon
    ARS3 - North Down & Ards

    Detail: The Term contracts for Maintenance and Improvement to Structures 2019 will include the following principal work activities: stonework; sprayed concrete; reinforced concrete repairs; working with services / utilities; vehicle restraint systems installation or repairs; reinforced concrete construction; installation of precast beams or box culverts and temporary traffic management on public roads in the following Local Government Districts:
