Smart and integrated ticketing
Smart and integrated ticketing is concerned with providing passengers with a ticketing media whereby tickets are stored electronically on a micro-chip (usually a smart card or other forms of smart media) and that also facilitates an integrated journey across different modes of transport, such as bus and rail, or different operators.
