DfI TRAM Direct Award Contracts
Direct Award Contracts (DACs) occur when a contract is awarded to a contractor without a competition, or where there is a material change to an existing contract.
What is a DAC?
Public procurement should, in the majority of cases, be subject to competition to ensure best value for money. DACs are also known as Single Tender Actions and occur when a contract is awarded to a contractor without a competition, or where there is a material change to an existing contract.
DfI Transport and Road Asset Management as a Centre of Procurement Expertise (CoPE) is obliged to publish all DACs for which they are responsible, of values greater than £30,000.
The table below provides details of all current DACs awarded by DfI Transport and Road Asset Management of values greater than £30,000. For information on DACs that have recently expired, please contact DfI Transport and Road Asset Management Procurement.
