    • In case we need to contact you to seek further information to help with the investigation and any possible remedial work necessary.
    • To send you an acknowledgement email with the enquiry reference number and details on how to track the progress or find out the outcome of an investigation online.

    • Personal data – including your name, email address and/or telephone number. Our lawful basis for processing this under the UK GDPR are Article 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(e).
    • Special category personal data – none.

    Where do you get my personal data from?

    No. The report a fault enquiry may be considered by our internal DfI Claims Unit should the information be relevant during the Department’s defence of a public liability claim.

    Personal information will be disposed of in line with our Retention and Disposal Schedule
