    The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023” (S.R. 2023 No. 186) which comes into operation on 11 December 2023.

    The Rule will apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to Hillhead Road, Toombridge and de-restrict lengths of the new A6 dual carriageway and associated link roads.

    A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to transportligislationbranch@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
