    The Department has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking Places on Roads (Motor Cycles) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016, (S.R. 2016 No. 153), which comes into operation on 5 April 2016.

    The rule will authorise lengths of Brunswick Street, May Street and College Square East, Belfast as parking places for motor cycles only and prescribe under what conditions they can be used.

    Vehicles are excepted from the conditions in certain circumstances.

    The rule will also add motor cycle and electric vehicle parking places to the list of locations within on-street Car Parking Zones which are exempt from charges.
