The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018, (S.R. 2018 No. 10), which comes into operation 5 February 2018.

Details

The rule will:

  • create parking places with unlimited waiting in Armagh, Banbridge, Bangor, Belfast, Donaghadee, Dungannon, Gilford, Greyabbey, Londonderry, Milford, Moy, Newry, Newtownards and Warrenpoint;
  • create other parking places with waiting limited to 2 hours Monday to Saturday 8.00 am to 6.00 pm in Belfast; and
  • amend the conditions of an existing parking place in Comber.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

The rule will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Belfast, Comber, Holywood and Killyleagh.
