Newry Southern Relief Road - Screening form

The proposed scheme, if constructed, will form a strategic link corridor which will provide access between the A1 Dublin Road dual carriageway and the A2 Warrenpoint Road dual carriageway. Facilitating the movement of strategic traffic from Newry City centre, which is acknowledged as a major traffic bottle neck on the Eastern Seaboard Corridor and as such received European Union Grant Agreement funding to aid scheme development.
