Date published:
Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has attended the Disabled People’s Parliament in the NI Assembly.
The Parliament provides participants with the opportunity to share their lived experiences and raise a series of issues that they are concerned about, directly with Ministers and MLAs.
Minister Kimmins said:
"Infrastructure is central to everything we do as a society, and I am determined to deliver positive changes for all.
"Including People is one of my Department’s seven ‘Foundations for a Better Future’ which underlines my commitment to ensuring we continue to work directly with disabled people to improve inclusiveness and accessibility across the services we provide.
"It was important for me to attend today to hear at first hand from participants in the parliament and to hear about their own experiences.”
