    Following previous Minister Mallon’s decision to refuse permission for the above proposal in April 2022, the High Court issued an order to quash this decision on 31st May 2023.

    The application was subsequently returned to the Department for Infrastructure for processing.

    The Department is continuing to progress the application in line with policy.

    Progress can be tracked via the Northern Ireland Planning Portal at the following link https://planningregister.planningsystemni.gov.uk/simple-search, using reference number T/2014/0114/F.
