    Summary

    Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Roads (NI) Order 1993, the Department proposes to introduce speed cushions and other traffic calming works at Lower Lansdowne Road and Causeway View, Portrush, Co. Londonderry to control the speed of traffic.

    Consultation description

    The speed cushions will be constructed in accordance with The Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999, other features will be constructed in accordance with the Traffic Calming Regulations (NI) 1995. All road markings and signing will be in accordance with the Traffic Signs Regulations (NI) 1997.

    The scheme will consist of the following measures:

    • One set of speed cushions 2.0 metres long x 2.0 metres wide located on Causeway View between the junctions of Lansdowne Crescent and Princess Street.
    • Two sets of speed cushions 2.0 metres long x 2.0 metres wide located on Lower Lansdowne Road.

    Making an objection
