​​​​​​​Traffic Calming Scheme - Flax Street, Belfast

The works will consist of:

• 1 No entrance feature road hump, kerb to kerb width and 50mm in height
• 1 No flat top tapered road hump, 4.9m long, varied width and 80mm high

All road humps will be constructed in accordance with The ‘Road Humps Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999’.  All road markings and signage will be in accordance with the ‘Traffic Signs Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997’.

Access to this building is limited and inspection of the traffic calming proposal is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email using traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Making an objection

Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk before 10 June 2024.
