    Summary

    Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Roads (NI) Order 1993, the Department proposes to construct road humps on C612 Dunnamore Road, Cookstown, to control the speed of traffic.

    Consultation description

    The road humps will be constructed in accordance with the Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999, other features will be constructed in accordance with the Traffic Calming Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995.

    The scheme consists of:

    • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Dunnamore Road, approximately 110 metres northwest of its junction with Mill View.
    • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.7 metres wide and 75 mm high on Dunnamore Road, approximately 30 metres southeast of its junction with Mill View.
    • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Dunnamore Road, approximately 95 metres southeast of its junction with Keemore Heights.
    • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Dunnamore Road, approximately 220 metres southeast of its junction with Keemore Heights.
    • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Dunnamore Road, approximately 330 metres southeast of its junction with Keemore Heights.

    Inspecting the proposals

    A consultation map showing the road humps and other traffic calming works may be inspected free of charge during office hours before 29 May 2018 at the Department's address as follows:

    Making an objection
