The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Prohibition of U-Turns (Belfast) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023.

Consultation description

The Order will prohibit vehicles travelling on the A55 Monagh Bypass, Belfast in a north-westerly or south-easterly direction from making a U-turn at its junction with Monagh Link. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Any person may, before 24 February 2023, object or make other representations to the proposal in writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing traffic.eastern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds for objection.
