The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Portadown) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018.

Consultation description

The Order will—

  • authorise a length of Edward Street, Portadown for use as a parking place and prescribe the conditions under which it may be used. Between 8.30 am and 6.15 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive parking will be limited to 2 hours and no return within 1 hour.
  • introduce a no waiting restriction Monday to Saturday between 8.30 am and 6.15 pm (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of Edward Street, Portadown.

The Order will also revoke and re-enact certain existing parking and waiting restrictions in Portadown.

Inspecting the proposals

Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the road involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department's address as follows:
