The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Antrim) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021.

Consultation description

The Order will—

  • authorise lengths of Church Street and Fountain Street, Antrim for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to a parking place prohibited until 2 hours have expired.
  • introduce a no waiting at any time restriction (loading and unloading permitted) on a length of Church Street, Antrim.
  • introduce a no waiting at any time restriction (loading and unloading not permitted) on lengths of Church Street and Fountain Street, Antrim.

Vehicles are excepted from the restrictions in certain circumstances.

Making an objection

Any person may, before 2 June 2021, object or make other representations to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address above or by emailing dfiroads.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds for objection.
