    Summary

    The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), being of the opinion that the road is not necessary for road traffic, gives notice of its intention to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993.

    Consultation description

    The effect of which would be to abandon an area of 10 square metres of road which lies within the property at 8-10 Gilmore Street, Ballymena.

    Inspecting the proposal

    The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period from 5 December 2023 to 12 January 2024 at:

    Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email at: landsofficecoleraine@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

    Making an objection

    Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to the Department at the address below or by emailing landsofficecoleraine@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
