Key stakeholders were involved in the development process to assist in the identification of drainage pressures and issues in the City and surrounding areas to inform and shape the final plan.

The Plan promotes the use of nature-based drainage and flood management solutions through collaborative working. This includes using green spaces to store surface water and slow the flow of water into the sewerage network, so reducing the risk of flooding and untreated sewage spilling into our rivers and waterways.
