The Drainage (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2017 tranpose the 2014 EU Directive on the Assessment of the effects of projects on the environment. (2014 EIA Directive).

Regulations to remove the requirement on Northern Ireland Water to install water meters at domestic properties, connecting to the public water supply for the first time. were approved by the Assembly on the 5 December 2016 and came into operation on 7 December 2016

The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Belfast) (Amendment no 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 (S.R. 2017 No. 135) which will come into operation on 21 July 2017.
