This aims to improve the cycling infrastructure within Northern Ireland by providing guidance to designers to ensure consistency of design and ultimately get more people cycling.

The aim of the policy is to temporarily suspend requirements for a developer to organise a public event as part of the mandatory pre-application community consultation process on proposed planning applications for major developments.  Alternatives will be used.
