On-Street Parking Order 2023

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The On-Street Parking (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023”, (S.R. 2023 No. 21), which comes into operation on 1 April 2023.

Details

The Rule will increase tariffs for on-street parking –

  • in Combermere Street, Glenalpin Street, Kensington Street, Sandy Row (east and west side) and Stroud Street, Belfast from £1.20 to £1.60 per hour;
  • in the remainder of the controlled parking zone in the city of Belfast from £1.40 to £1.80 per hour;
  • in the controlled parking zone in the city of Lisburn from £0.80 to £1.00 per hour; and
  • in the controlled parking zone in the city of Newry from £0.60 to £0.80 per hour.

A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only.
