The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017, (S.R. 2017 No. 182), which comes into operation on 2 October 2017.

Details

The rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Banbridge, Belfast, Cookstown, Kilkeel, Londonderry, Newry, Newtownabbey, Newtownards, Portadown and Warrenpoint.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

The rule will also create a parking place with limited waiting in Belfast and amend descriptions of existing bays in Dungannon, Lurgan and Newcastle, and remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Belfast and Cookstown.
