The Department for Infrastructure has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016”, (S.R. 2016 No. 341, which comes into operation on 12 October 2016.

Details

The rule will create parking places with unlimited waiting in Antrim, Ballygowan Ballywalter, Bangor, Belfast, Carrickfergus, Comber, Donaghadee, Holywood, Killinchy, Killyleagh, Lisnaskea, Londonderry, Moira, Newtownards and Strabane.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.

The rule will also remove parking places with unlimited waiting in Bangor, Belfast, Lisburn, Millisle and Newtownards.

The rule will amend the descriptions of parking places in Antrim, Comber and Newtownards.
