Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request details relating to an inter-agency meeting involving officials from Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (NM&D) and the Department for Infrastructure (DfI).

The inter-agency meeting was held in recent weeks for the Clough, Seaford, Ballykinler and Dundrum areas and was chaired by the East Down Rural Community Network.

1. In relation to this meeting, please disclose a copy of the following:

  • Any minutes taken of the meeting.
  • Any notes, including handwritten notes, taken by your officials who attended.
  • Any agenda or accompanying documents presented to attendees.

2. A copy of all correspondence sent and received, internally and externally (redacted where appropriate if necessary) subsequent to the meeting related to and/or resulting from the discussion about unauthorised event signage on lampposts/other road furniture. This should include (but not be limited to):

  • A copy of the written advice or guidance given by DfI to NM&D council officials.
  • Any other correspondence related to this matter.
  • A copy of internal press office communications related to press queries about this matter.
