Information relating to the Bus Lanes (Belfast City Centre) Order (NI) 2018 and the Bus Lanes (Belfast Rapid Transit, East and West Corridors) Order (NI) 2018, including:

1) Copies of all internal departmental memoranda, meeting notes and correspondence between officials within the Department of Infrastructure to the then Minister, Chris Hazzard, relating to the initial approval in March 2018 of the experimental scheme allowing taxis in bus lanes;

2) A copy of all data survey information from the 12 week trial arising out of the 12 week trial which commenced on 20 February 2017;

3) Copies of any minutes of meetings together with any pre or post meeting notes, memoranda or communications of meetings between:
i. Value Cabs and Fonacab representatives; and;
ii. Department for Infrastructure representatives in relation to private hire taxis using bus lanes;

4) Copies of all internal correspondence from Stephen Hughes of Traffic and Development Control Policy Branch (DFI Roads) to the Minister and/or other officials within the Department of Infrastructure relating to:
i. The twelve week trial in 2017;
ii. The experimental scheme initially approved in 2018; or
iii. Any representations made by private hire taxi companies such as Fonacab or Value Cabs;

5) Copies of any internal departmental memoranda, notes or correspondence from officials within the Department of Infrastructure to the Permanent Secretary in relation to the recent published decision on 2 August 2019 of the Department for Infrastructure to further defer the experimental bus lane scheme pending the return of a Minister; and

6) Copies of any material, submissions, evidence or any other documentation prepared, generated or otherwise furnished in response to the submissions of Value Cabs and Fonacab representatives to the Department.
