Summary

Notice is hereby given that under Article 65 of the Roads (NI) Order 1993, the Department proposes to construct road humps on U5006 Forthglen, Cookstown, to control the speed of traffic.

Consultation description

The road humps will be constructed in accordance with the Road Humps Regulations (NI) 1999, other features will be constructed in accordance with the Traffic Calming Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995.

The scheme consists of:

  • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.7 metres wide and 75 mm high on Forthglen, approximately 20 metres from the entrance at Orritor Road.
  • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.7 metres wide and 75 mm high on Forthglen in the vicinity of numbers 4 and 76.
  • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Forthglen in the vicinity of numbers 10 and 67.
  • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Forthglen, in the vicinity of numbers 13 and 57.
  • Set of double Speed Cushions, approximately 3.1 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 75 mm high on Forthglen, in the vicinity of numbers 16 and 51.
