Stopping-Up of Private Accesses – A1 Dual Carriageway between Springwell Loanin and Castlewellan Road Bridge, Banbridge

Summary

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) gives notice of its proposal to make an Order under Article 69 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 (“the 1993 Order”) the effect of which would be to stop-up 4 private accesses to the A1 Banbridge Bypass.

The accesses are as follows:

  • On the north side commencing 435 metres west-south-west of the centre of the Rathfriland Road over bridge
  • On the south side commencing 391 metres west-south-west of the centre of the Rathfriland Road over bridge
  • On the south side commencing 114 metres south-west of the centre of the Castlewellan Road over bridge
  • On the north side commencing 113 metres south-west of the centre of the Castlewellan Road over bridge

Inspecting the Proposal 

The accesses proposed to be stopped-up are delineated on maps which, together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 19 December 2017 to 26 January 2018 at the Departments following address:

Making an Objection
