The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2018.

Consultation description

The Order will–

  • apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to lengths of Annaghmore Road, Moor Road and Washing Bay Road, Coalisland and Deverney Road, Drumnakilly Road and Donaghanie Road, Omagh.
  • revoke a number of speed limits so that a 30 miles per hour speed limit (restricted by street lighting) will apply to lengths of Annaghmore Road, Moor Road and Washing Bay Road, Coalisland and Deverney Road, Drumnakilly Road and Donaghanie Road, Omagh and to the entire length of Cranny Bridge Roundabout and Hospital Road, Omagh.

Vehicles are excepted from the restrictions in certain circumstances.
