The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017.

The Order will–

  • apply a 20 miles per hour speed limit to Cloneen and Cloneen Avenue, Dungannon;
  • apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to a length of Mallusk Road, Mallusk, Newtownabbey;
  • apply a 30 miles per hour speed limit to a longer length of Fenaghy Road, Cullybackey; and
  • revoke a speed limit so that a 30 miles per hour speed limit (restricted by street lighting) will apply to a length of Mallusk Road, Mallusk, Newtownabbey.

Vehicles are excepted from the restrictions in certain circumstances.
