The Carnbane Road, Newry (Abandonment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015

Consultation opened on 18 August 2015. Closing date 26 September 2015.


The Department for Regional Development proposes to make an Order to abandon 2 areas of road totalling 1,525 square metres of road at Carnbane Road, Newry as follows:
• 903 square metres of road commencing at a point 36 metres from the junction of the U5160 Carnbane Road for 69 metres in a south-easterly direction
• 622 square metres of road commencing at a point 4 metres from the A27 Shepherds Way for 58 metres in a south-easterly direction

The areas of road proposed to be abandoned are delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period 18 August to 25 September 2015 at the following TransportNI offices:

Making an objection

Any person may, between 18 August to 25 September 2015, object to the proposal in writing to the Department at the Craigavon address above or by emailing stating the grounds of the objection.
