Supply and Delivery of Traffic Signs and Posts

Detail: This contract is for the supply and delivery of permanent and temporary road traffic signs and posts.

Term Contracts for Road Markings 2019

Estimated value: Up to approx. £600k per annum
Estimated release date: August 2019
Detail: The Term Contracts for Road Markings will include the following work activities: removal of road markings, laying of road markings using mechanical means, laying of road markings by hand, removal of road studs, installation of road studs, overbanding and inlaid crack sealing systems and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

RMN1 - Causeway Coast and Glens;
RMN2 - Mid and East Antrim / Antrim and Newtownabbey;
RME1 - Belfast;
RME2 - Lisburn and Castlereagh;
RMS1 - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon;
RMS2 - Newry, Mourne & Down / North Down & Ards;
RMW1 - Mid Ulster; and
RMW2 - Derry & Strabane.

Term Contracts for Minor Improvement Works 2020

Estimated value: Up to approx. £1.9m per annum
Estimated release date: August 2019
Detail: The Term Contracts for Minor Improvement Works 2020 will include the following work activities: network improvement schemes; drainage installation; pavement surfacing; earthworks; traffic management; traffic calming schemes; transportation schemes, working with services / utilities; TTM / dealing with live traffic on public roads and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

MIN1 - Causeway Coast & Glens;
MIW1 - Mid Ulster; and
MIS1 - Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon.

Term Contracts for Small Scale Responsive Works 2020

Estimated value: Up to approx. £2.6m per annum
Estimated release date: August 2019
Detail: The Term contracts for Small Scale Responsive Works 2020 will include the following principal work activities: permanent reinstatement of openings and repairs to defects in footways and carriageways with all types of surfaces; adjustment/provision drainage installation and maintenance schemes; earthworks; environmental works; provision & maintenance of fences and pedestrian guardrail; reconstruction of carriageways and footways; accommodation works including walls, fencing etc.; adjustment/ provision of kerblines; small network improvement schemes e.g. traffic management schemes, traffic calming schemes and other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

Term Contracts for Asphalt Resurfacing 2020 Phase 1

Detail: The Term Contracts for Asphalt Resurfacing 2020 Phase 1 will include the following work activities: laying various types of asphalt, asphalt concrete and thin surfacing by mechanical means, laying various types of asphalt, asphalt concrete and thin surfacing by hand, reshaping of carriageways, adjustment of street furniture to new levels, adjustment/provision of kerblines, adjustment/provision of carriageway drainage systems, traffic management, road marking/studs, other associated ancillary works in the following Local Government Districts:

DfI Strangford Lough Ferry Service – MV Portaferry II Dry Docking Project 2019

Estimated value: £300,000
Estimated release date: August 2019
Detail: DfI are seeking an experienced Ship Repair Contractor to carry out major dry dock works, including structural repairs and application of protective coatings to the MV Portaferry II ferry during Autumn 2019.

Glenrandal Bridge Replacement

Estimated value: Approx. £350k
Estimated release date: September 2019
Detail: This contract is for a bridge replacement scheme, works to include: construction of sheet piling adjacent to watercourse to create suitable working areas on the embankment of the river (all works to be constructed outside the river profile), construct a reinforced concrete bridge using cast insitu elements and precast prestressed concrete beams and widening an existing carriageway with new abutments, embankments and bituminous surfacing.
