Road freight statistics 2014

This document brings together information on the road freight industry in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland up to 2014. 

Note there was a delay in the publication of this document.  Between 2011 and 2012, a number of changes were made to how DfT road freight surveys were processed.  This lead to a delay in the production and publication of the Road Freight Statistical series by DfT.   DfT published 2011-2013 GB data in February 2015 and 2014 GB data in November 2015.  Following this, DfT provided NI level data up to 2014 to CSRB.  This data has now been presented in this release (alongside RoI data obtained from CSO).
