The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Omagh) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024”, (S.R. 2024 No. 64), which comes into operation on 15 April 2024.

Details

The Order will introduce ‘no waiting at any time’ restrictions (loading and unloading permitted) on lengths of High Street and Scarffe’s Entry, Omagh. Vehicles are excepted from the restrictions in certain circumstances. The Order also updates the definitions of “postal packet” and “universal service provider”.

A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) by appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by email to trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone on 0300 200 7899.
