Date published: 12 September 2019

A £100,000 resurfacing and reconstruction scheme will commence on Orangehall Lane/Thistlemount Park, Lisburn on Monday 16 September.

Lane closure during resurfacing work

The work along the entire section of Orangehall Lane/Thistlemount Park will improve the strength and surface quality of the road.

To facilitate the resurfacing a weekday lane closure will be in operation between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm, from Monday 16 September until Monday 21 October.

Access for residents will be maintained throughout the scheme.

The Department has carefully programmed the scheme in order to minimise disruption, however, road users may experience some delays and should allow additional time  when planning any journeys.

It is expected work will be substantially completed by late October, however, this is subject to favourable weather conditions and the Department will keep the public informed of any change.
