The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Newtownards) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024.

Consultation description

The Order will introduce a no waiting at any time restriction (loading and unloading not permitted) on a length of Glenbrook Road / Ash Grove, Glen Estate and Mill Street, Newtownards. Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.

The Order will also revoke and re-enact other parking places and waiting restrictions in Newtownards.

Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with maps showing the roads involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at:

Inspection of the draft Order and maps is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Making an objection

Any person may, before 24 May 2024, object or make other representations to the proposal in writing to the Department at the address below or by emailing tninddownpatrick@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk stating the grounds of the objection.
