The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Roads (Speed Limit) (No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020.

The Order will–

  • apply a 40 miles per hour speed limit to Haw Road, Londonderry;
  • revoke a speed limit so that a 30 miles per hour speed limit (restricted by street lighting) will apply to a length of Ballagh Road, Fivemiletown.

Vehicles are excepted from the restrictions in certain circumstances.

Inspecting the proposals

Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with maps showing the roads involved, may be inspected free of charge (by appointment only, phone 028 8225 4085 to arrange a viewing) during office hours within the period below at the Department's address as follows:
