The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places on Roads and Waiting Restrictions (Newry) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2019.

Consultation description

The Order authorises the use as parking places of lengths of Railway Avenue, Newry between 8.30 am and 6.15 pm on the days Monday to Saturday with waiting limited to 2 hours and no return within 1 hour.

The Order will also prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) on lengths of Albert Basin and Hospital Road, Newry. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in certain circumstances.

The Order will also revoke existing waiting restrictions on Hospital Road, Newry.

Full details are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the roads involved, may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at the Department's address as follows:

Making an objection
