The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places on Roads and Waiting Restrictions (Magherafelt) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2019.

The Order will amend the Parking Places on Roads and Waiting Restrictions (Magherafelt) Order (Northern Ireland) by―

  • amending the description of a parking place on King Street;
  • authorising a length of Church Street for the use as a parking place and prescribe the conditions under which it may be used. Between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 2 hours with return to a parking place prohibited until 3 hours has expired;
  • splitting an existing parking place on Rainey Street into two lengths and increasing one of the lengths; and
  • prohibiting vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading not permitted) on a length of Greenvale Park.

Vehicles are excepted from the conditions of the parking places and prohibition of no waiting in certain circumstances.

Making an objection
