The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking Places (Disabled Persons’ Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020.

The Order will create parking places with unlimited waiting at:

  • Antrim: Donegore Drive in front of No. 34, Mallusk Gardens in a parking area in front of No. 5 Seacash Walk and Riverside in front of No. 27;
  • Banbridge: Maryville Park in a lay-by in front of No. 19 and Moorefield in a parking area in front of No. 52;
  • Belfast: Blackmountain Walk in a parking area to the rear of No. 14, Carrington Street in front of No. 38, Drumart Drive in a parking area in front of No. 36, Dundela Street in front of No. 22, Highpark Drive in front of No. 13 (re-advertisement), Larkfield Gardens in front of No. 20, Northwood Road in front of No. 83; Pacific Avenue in front of No. 20, Summerhill Avenue in front of No. 18, Sunnyside Drive in front of No. 21 and Willowbank Gardens in front of No. 17;
  • Carrickfergus: Victoria Gardens in a parking area in front of No. 16;
  • Gilford: Castleview in a lay-by in front of grassed area in front of No. 56;
  • Greenisland: Moyard Gardens in a parking area in front of No. 34;
  • Larne: Bay Road in front of No. 24, Station Road in front of No. 12 and Upper Cairncastle Road in a lay-by in front of No. 5 Craigyhill Bungalows;
  • Lisburn: Rushmore Park in a parking area in front of No. 14;
  • Londonderry: Riverview Terrace in front of Nos. 8-9;
  • Newtownabbey: Forthill Gardens in a parking area in front of No. 78, Glenvarna Walk in a parking area to the rear of No. 13 Glenvarna Drive, Green End in a parking area in front of Block 11 A-H, Inniscarn Drive in a parking area in front of No. 90, Mountview Place in a parking area in front of No. 14 Mountview Pass, Mournebeg Drive in a lay-by in front of No. 39 and Parkmount Road in a lay-by in front of No. 8.

The Order will remove parking places with unlimited waiting at:

  • Bangor: Seacliff Road opposite No. 134;
  • Belfast: Carrington Street in front of No. 21, Larkfield Gardens in front of No. 33 and Wellington Park in front of No. 46.

All parking places are for the use of disabled persons’ vehicles only.
