The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) proposes to make an Order entitled The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Enniskillen) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024.

Consultation description

The Order will authorise lengths of New Street, Enniskillen for use as parking places and prescribe the conditions under which they may be used. Between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive, parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to the parking place prohibited until 2 hours has expired.

The Order will also prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading and unloading permitted) on a length of New Street, Enniskillen. Vehicles are excepted from the conditions and prohibition in certain circumstances.

Full details are contained in the draft Order which together with a map showing the road involved may be inspected free of charge during office hours within the period below at:

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by email at: trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 028 8225 4085.

Making an objection

Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing to the Department at the address below or by emailing trafficwestern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk before 29 December 2023.
