Parking and Waiting Restrictions - Downpatrick

The Order will remove a loading bay with limited waiting on Irish Street, Downpatrick and amend the conditions of an existing parking place so that between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive parking will be limited to 1 hour with return to a parking place prohibited until 1 hour has expired.  Vehicles are excepted from the restriction in certain circumstances.

The Order also updates the definitions of “postal packet” and “universal service provider”

The Order will also revoke and re-enact other parking places and waiting restrictions in Downpatrick.

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be arranged either by e-mail using tninddownpatrick@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by telephone during office hours (Mon to Fri 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.

Any person may object or make other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, by writing or emailing the Department at the address above before 17 February 2023.
