Overview

The scheme is located between Omagh and Dromore and is the largest in the overall A32 improvement strategy. It comprised of 2.5 km of new single carriageway extending from the A32 Clanabogan Road / B4 Drumlish Road Junction to the A32 Clanabogan Road / Shannaragh Road Junction just north of Dromore.

The works included the replacement of the old Shannaragh Bridge over the Owenreagh River and the realignment of some local roads to improve access onto the A32. The realigned carriageway has significant benefits to the road user in terms of reduced journey times, improved road safety and improved overtaking opportunities along the route
